God’s Law Of Reciprocity: The way to have a great marriage

Wedding Planning

We take marriage very seriously. We are thrilled that you are using us for your Gulf Shores Beach Wedding and would love for you to read this. Divorce is an epidemic in our society. We want you to have the best marriage you can have and we know that means to keep God first in your life.  [read more=”Read_more” less=”Read_less”]  I want to write about the law of Reciprocity tonight.  You don’t have to be a Christian to be affected by it. After your Gulf Shores or Orange Beach Wedding is over you will live together as husband and wife. Sometimes it is difficult. This I know, that we get out of the marriage what we put in. My wife and I have been married for 20 years. It’s not always perfect but it works because we both put God first. We must have a good understanding of God’s law of Reciprocity or the law of reaping and sowing to have a happy long lasting marriage.

The Australians invented a weapon that could come back to you when thrown. They would hunt with it. When they missed it would come back to them. Or at least close.

anyone know what that is?

That’s right the boomerang.

What do you call a boomerang that don’t come back?

a stick! LOL

the Bible talks about boomerangs.

It’s called the Law of Reciprocity or the law of sowing and reaping.

You will find it in every religion because it is a law that we cannot do away with.

even if you are not a Christian.

This law transcends the church.

This law is for everyone.

The Buddhist call it Karma

Hindus call it cause and affect.

Non Religious people might just say “what comes around, goes around.”

Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

Job 4:8 “…Those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.”

We throw Boomerangs everyday.

in our marriage

in our family life.. with our kids..

in our buisnesses or at our jobs

When those boomerangs come back to us will we be happy with the result?

What we are doing today will affect our tomorrow.

and not just our tomorrow but our kids tomorrow. (are we living a Godly life that our kids can model after)

Are we sowing God’s word into their life by reading it to them?

We will harvest what we reap.

We will reap more than we sow and later than we sow,

I heard a story about a man who told his son,

“Don’t go into that watermelon patch. The melons aren’t ripe yet.” Then the father drove into town. The boy went out to the watermelon patch and found one melon that he knew was ripe. He pulled it, broke it over some rocks and ate it. He knew he had done wrong. He knew he had disobeyed his father, but he hadn’t been caught.

Several weeks passed. As the father was driving a cow up from the pasture, he saw a weird thing on the other side of the fence.

He saw little watermelon sprouts by some rocks. He dug by the new plants and saw the old rinds with seeds sprouting. He knew what had happened. The boy was caught.

The Bible teaches that Satan is a great deceiver.

remember this : Genesis 3:4-5

The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die!

The reason we can remember it so well is because he is always saying it to us.

Sin always leads to destruction and Satan will always lie about it.

Your wedding is important to us. Your dreamy Gulf Shores beach wedding is gonna be a great event. More importantly your marriage is gonna be a great event. Please remember you will get out of your marriage what you put into it. It is God’s law of reaping and sowing that we cannot escape. If you want a great spouse, be a great spouse.
